The Zumbro River Community Festival and Golf Tournament both are benefits for disadvantaged youth. Funds raised from these events benefit children from organizations such as the Friendship Place , Children’s Mental Health and Resource Center , Olmsted County Social Services, and other community entities. Many children experience a week at camp who otherwise would not be able to. Funds raised also enable camp staff to provide programming for young people in various community neighborhoods in Southeast Minnesota .
